This is a fun image in color IR as you put it. However, on opening I felt it has two parts to composition ... one as you've done, and the other V2, which is attached. What do you think?

I don't mind the crop and would leave it as is. Also, I like Arik's suggestion, re: adjustment of contrast and highlights. A nice image, nonetheless.
