66 Dec 21 Reply Hi Melanie
Thanks for your comments. As suggested, I tried softening the sepia s little, but by so doing, brought out more details in the background. Hence my preference goes for the original!

66 Dec 21 Comment Hi Emil
I too like the image being flipped. The highlights on the kayaks also help ... as does the details you've brought out in clouds. Am happy with the composition as a whole. A great find!

66 Dec 21 Comment Hi Gary
I commend the work that you have put in by combining the two images. The idea works for me, but will await to hear the opinion of others. Full marks for a different and considered approach though!!

66 Dec 21 Comment Hi Jack
I like the scene as a whole with perhaps without the telephone pole in the foreground! But, I see your reasoning for including the same.
Another alternative would be to remove the pole and crop
the image by 1/2 an inch at the top. Just a thought!!

66 Dec 21 Comment Hi Arik
A beautifully rendered scene in every way which I like very much. Post processing spot on. Channel swapping also added the drama. Full marks!!

66 Dec 21 Comment Hi Melanie
I find this image quite appealing and strong compositionally. The scattered clouds add to its depth.
Having said that I couldn't help in presenting an alternative version to see what you think!!

66 Dec 21 Reply Hi Gary
You're right in suggesting the bold B&W version. It did cross my mind at the time but finally settled in presenting the sepia version. Anyway, here's the B&W image!
Thanks too for the comments.

66 Dec 21 Comment As an afterthought I decided to add a white border to isolate the image from the background! Dec 1st
