Hi Gary
You've gone to some trouble in the creation of this image which has its unique qualities. I particularly like the soft effect that you've come up with ... not your usual style though!! Composition spot on. On a minor point I'd like to see some detail in the foreground foliage + a hint of sepia toning.
Glad you're building a new computer. Speaking of Luminar software, I do have this installed (LUMINAR 4). It creates a range to HDR images from which you can choose the one you like > adjust the opacity slider within the image and finally adjust tonal range with the help of sliders R/S. Not only do you have fun playing with sliders, but with practice you can improve the overall effect. Hope this helps!! |

Thank you all for the feedback which is most helpful. As to Gary's point of moving to the right, I did try it, but was not happy with the composition. I wanted to leave a space between the two trees and the dashed line leading to the bridge .. so settled on that!
As to the image not being entirely sharp, I used the 'Screen' blend mode to keep it on the soft side ... which was intentional!!!

An image full of impact, Charles. Composition just as great.
As the others have said to lighten the foreground just a little would help ... and I tend to agree with them. |

Hi Jack
The central composition with hills on either side has helped here. Sky looks fine as it is. On a minor point though, would you consider darkening the foreground just a bit! |

Hi Arik
You've done full justice in portraying this delicate flower with shallow depth-of-field. The softness adds to the beauty.
I tend agree with Jack and Emil, re: crop.

Hi Melanie
A well considered subject which has been post processed beautifully. Composition equally good. Would you perhaps consider introducing a bit of vignette! |

Beautifully shot and rendered, Emil. I like the subdued lines of highlights leading to the main building. Composition spot on. Well done!
