Thank you all for your valuable comments which are most helpful.
Gary, thank you so much for doing your version, which I like. I've often said ... there's so much to be learnt from each other and your approach is something to be admired. |

Hi Gary
Your subject matter is perfect for IR ... so is the post-processing. Inclusion of the two cars in the background is a fine touch. I do like the steering wheel sitting out! An excellent find.
Thanks too for sharing the story. |

Hi Charles
A well composed subject with the lead-in line of the path. Glimpses of highlights on trees help ... as does the broken shadows on the road. Everything has been so well considered and executed. Top marks! |

Hi Emil
As soon as I opened the image, I fell in love with its tonality and the square crop. There's nothing that I don't like about the image. Its so well balanced in terms of composition, as well as post processing. Full marks!! |

Hi Melanie
You've captured the setting beautifully. The chosen viewpoint just as good.
The only thing that bothers me a little are the bits of warm clouds that take away the eye from the main structure. By the same token they could be intentional!
Would you perhaps consider sepia toning the entire image!! |

Hi Arik
Beautiful scenery and clouds depicted in IR. Composition spot on. Also like the touch of highlight on the left of the house. If it were my picture, I'd marginally darken the foreground, without loosing the emphasis on the curved lines.
With this in mind I took the image in PS and did just that. Also cloned out both clouds at the top. See what you think!

A nicely composed and processed image, Jack. Side lighting has made all the difference, creating sweeping curves. I'd leave the crop as is and it works for me. Well done! |
