Hi Gary
My first impression "WOW". The more I look at it, the more it draws on me.
Your creativity in IR rendering is something to be admired ... different approach each month which makes it all the more interesting.
I know it was your way of creating an eerie mood, but would you possibly consider reducing the highlights on the dress just a touch!
A wonderful image all the same !! |

Hi Melanie
You've certainly gone to a lot of trouble in doing post-processing and trying to create something different. I applaud you for that.
Speaking of the image itself, I do like the flipped version in mono as done by Emil. It has brought back certain qualities of IR, making the image pop. Also makes it compositionally strong.
Keep up the good work. |

A moody forest scene that you've given us to enjoy, Emil. Its not always easy to separate the cluster of trees, but you've done so admirably. Post processing, spot on.
Like Jack, I too wish you'd included more of the foreground! |

Hi Charles
What a lovely setting of the forest with the road passing through that serves as a lead-in line! Also like the streaks of highlights on the road, but most importantly, the chosen viewpoint.
As Jack suggests, reducing the contrast marginally may help.
Top image nonetheless!! |

Hi Jack
A superb example of ferns the way you've executed. Square format suits the composition. Even like your Original 2.
The only suggestion (and a minor one!). Would you consider cloning the line that extends beyond the fern hitting the foreground!! |

A good suggestion Charles, which will be rectified. Should have noticed this originally! |
