Hi Jack
Thanks for your comments. I'd purposely kept the image in low-key so as to draw the eye towards the cloud line.
Am attaching a slightly lighter and a tighter version to see what you think! |

Hi Jack
I don't mind the collection of trees with the nice sky that you've portrayed.
From my perspective the eye travels from left to right forming good composition. Another suggestion would be to flip the canvas to see what you think! |

Hi Charles
I did comment on the image earlier and wondered where it's gone!
I like the original as you've composed, but am inclined to lean towards Gary's version the way he has post-processed. Nontheless, its a wonderful subject for IR and you have well to captured the surrounds so beautifully. |

Thanks Email for the suggestion, Emil. Will work on the reflected clouds to see how they look. |

Everything is going for this image Emil, and you have done a terrific job of post-processing. What I like about the image is the soft nature of the scene. Can't add more to what others have said. |

Hi Melanie
I often revisit my files to see if they can be improved further.
Your image is beautifully processed and is full of drama. Those wooly clouds, the tree pattern and the foliage add beauty to the landscape. If you can carefully clone out the tree merger, it would be wonderful. A very pleasing image nonetheless. |

Hi Gary
I love the lighting and the pose of Jessica. Your IR conversion is nicely done and is pleasing. So is the crop. I particularly like the glassy look in her eyes. A touch of solarization has added to the drama. Full marks!
Will give your method a try!!

Thanks Gary, for your comments. Perhaps the slight evidence of wind may have contributed towards the unsharpness of the foreground clouds! |
