Thank you Jack, Charles and Gary for your comments.
Gary - I wondered if another title (other than "Sun Bathing") would suit the image!!
Suggestions from fellow members of the Group also welcome! |

Hi Emil
Although the landscape is beautifully portrayed in terms of composition and other supporting elements, I feel it needs a touch of additional contrast.
With this in mind, I took the image into PS and played around with sliders in Levels. Also did some selective dodging and burning to see what you think!! |

Hi Gary
I think you've hit the nail on the head in producing this kind of dreamy scene! The effective use of various presets has paid off ... giving an impression of high winds. One minor suggestion though ... would you possibly consider adding some sepia tone! |

Yes Charles, you've done a wonderful job in portraying the scene. The foliage is just exploding making the whole scene come alive. The cycle path with a touch of sepia adds another dimension. Very, very effective. 10/10!! |

What a lovely scene of the woods you've given us to enjoy, Jack. Framing for me is superbly handled, as is the tonal range to the foliage, tree trunks and so forth. For me its the fence has done the trick, forcing the eye back into the enclosure. Full marks!! |

Hi Melanie
Color IR has always been fascinating for me, but feel I'm quite novice to pass any judgement! Having said that, congratulations for venturing out into this new area, which I can see you're already enjoying.
Now to the image itself. I like the way you've composed ... with that tiny reflection by the edge to balance. From my perspective it draws the eye back into the scene as there is so much more to explore. Weighing all the pros and cons, I like the third image because of its softness. |
