Thanks for your comments, Charles, and I agree with your views, re: buildings & structures. Perhaps it was laziness on my part for not having cloned out those structures, etc.
I've recently started experimenting with IR images. So wait for the next month to see if the group as a whole likes it or not!! |

Thanks Gary, for all the suggestions, re. crop, etc. Whilst appreciating your input I do however prefer the horizontal crop this time! Kindly also refer to my reply under Melanie's comments.

Hi Melanie
Thanks for your suggestion re: de-saturating the image lightly, which I did. And yes, I do like the overall result.
In this instance however, I prefer to stay with the horizontal crop as opposed to the vertical! A subjective issue I might add!!! |

A very interesting subject for IR, Emil, which I like. Nicely composed too.
As Jack suggests, tweaking the contrast would prove advantageous. Worth trying! |

Hi Charles
Although the image looks somewhat contrasty, nonetheless you've done a good job of post-processing.
I think that the portrait composition would look better as opposed to the landscape crop. Also I feel the image is leaning a bit to the right. Having said that I took it into PS and extended the canvas to improve the composition. See what you think!. |

Hi Ernie
I'd a look at the image a few times. The more I look at it, the more it grabs me! Apart from the beautiful sky, I like the highlight on the left side of the rock. To me, circular composition has done the trick. Also your approach to post-processing. Full marks!! |

A different approach to your usual style of IR imaging! I agree with your thinking of including the cyclist as well as the crop to better the composition. The overall tones and lessening the contrast is also pleasing. Good work, Melanie. |

Hi Gary - Very original and delicately treated. Glimpses of highlights on the hair just right Expression and pose just as good. My only suggestion would be to lighten the eyes just a touch to bring out detail. Perhaps it was intentional!! |

Hi Jack - I fell in love with the sweeping clouds and the general scene as soon as I opened the image. Your composition is spot on ... and so is the balance. 10/10!! |
