Hi Emil
One often faces problems with composition when photographing forest scenes, and this is one such example. As soon as I opened the image I felt that the trunk on the left could have been avoided ... perhaps a controversial & subjective statement!! A lovely IR scene nonetheless.

Hi Gary - You've certainly gone to extraordinary trouble in producing this bold picture which looks great. In my view its full of drama and the vertical crop does help. Full marks! |

Hi Melanie - Superbly rendered in IR which truly fits this scene. Its so appealing to the eye and I like it very much. Having read Gary's comments afterwards, I think some of his suggestions may be worth considering! |

Terrific image Jack, which I like immensely. Composition spot on. Agree about tweaking the contrast. |

Thank you all for your valuable comments. Apologies for not commenting on your images earlier as we have been away interstate!
Agree about the uninteresting background. Have superimposed the clouds as suggested by Gary. Image attached.
Would appreciate everyone's comments as to whether the image looks improved or otherwise!!! |
