Emil - The new crop is an improvement and so is the darkened sky. However, would you consider extending the canvas on the left to give the building a more breathing space ... as I've done! |

I tend to agree with Jack that a touch of warm toning would help enhance the image further. |

Thanks Melanie, for both your comments and the suggestion. Hopefully I could get to the same spot next year and do another shot!! |

Hi Gary - Your point taken and I'll work on that when I'm in Aireys Inlet next! Thank you for your observation and other related comments. Much appreciated. |

Hi Ernie - I like this piece of beautiful architecture the way you have portrayed. Composition is fine by me. However I but feel it needs more work to bring out details in some of the shadow areas. Adjusting tones in the highlights equally necessary.
With this in mind I took the image into PS and played around with Shadows/Highlights sliders. Also used dodge and burn tools wherever required. Wondering if you like the worked image!! |

Hi Jack - The lead-in line of shadows into the far distance works for me ... and so does the composition. I was wondering if darkening the sky (within reason of course!) may enhance the scene. |

Welcome to the friendly group Emil.
Your first image is a cracker and so is the composition. If it were my image I'd remove the electric post and extend the canvas on the left a little. Also clone out the black post appearing in the foliage.
On a minor point - Did you try to clone some clouds besides the electric pole and above towards its right?

Hi Gary - What a breath-taking scene you have given us to enjoy! I like its simplicity, but above all, composition and post processing. 10/10.
Re white specks - Yes I'd remove them. Not sure about the vapour trail in the middle. On second thoughts however, I'd leave it in. |

Hi Melanie - That's a beauty and I like every bit of it ... the stone work, columns, foliage and the clouds. Full marks!! |
