A beautifully rendered scene Melanie - the clouds, foliage, reflections, etc. Post-processing just as good. However, I like the use of Darken/Lighten Center from Nik Software as Gary has illustrated ... as it enhances the image even further. |

I like the image and the toning, Jack, but feel it lacks the WOW factor like your other IR images. Like you said, it needs something more from the point of view of composition. |

Gary - For me both the lonely bike and the vanishing line make this picture. A great IR subject and compositionally quite strong. My only (slight) worry is about the noise. I wonder whether you'd consider reducing it! |

Gary - Your generous comments greatly appreciated. My only worry was the missing finger and I was tempted to put it back by cloning! What do you think?
As suggested, I'll try and enter the image in some competition to see how I go!! |
