Thanks Gary - Couldn't agree more with your views. Will certainly keep this in mind when post-processing other IR images. Craig, in fact, reworked on the original to solve the issue! |

Craig - Thanks for feedback, re. "Comment Notifications". As suggested I've gone back to the original setting of opting in. Hopefully it works! |

Thanks for you suggestions and comments, Melanie. And yes, square format is a good idea, and I shall certainly keep that in mind. Also darkening the fence as suggested.
Going back to the original, I was merely trying to include the expanse of the foliage on the left in keeping with the traditional landscape format! |

Yes, I agree with your comments and the treatment, Craig. Thanks for working on the original and posting your version of the modified image. It is much, much better!
Sorry for the lateness in acknowledging, but I didn't receive the link from you this time. Can you please put me back onto the link to alert me as and when the comments are posted. Thanking you! |

Good luck with this image, Gary. At some stage, I'd love to hear how it scored in international salons. |

Hi Gary - What a capture in turning out an ordinary subject into something special! Many of us would have just passed the place without realizing its full potential.
Inclusion of the Windmill at a slant adds to the composition ... as does the sepia toning. A great image on the whole.

Hi Melaine - Your graphic approach in terms of portraying the scene has off by bringing out its architectural merit. It has that WOW factor and the arches look great!
One suggestions if I may, have you tried flipping the image horizontally to see what you think!!! |

Hi Craig - You've indeed brought out the true essence of the Woolen Mill, not only by converting it to sepia, but equally by bringing out all the relevant details within the picture. It takes us back to the old times, which you have portrayed so well. I like it very much. |

Hi Jack - I like the chosen viewpoint that you've used. Also the landscape.
The vineyard, however, seems to be the predominant feature of this image, which perhaps needs darkening.
With this in mind I took the image into PS, and opened it in NIK Color Efex Pro 4, applied Detail Extractor filter and selectively darkened the vineyard to hold interest. Also cropped it a little at the bottom.
