Thanks for your views, Craig. This place is always crowded with visitors, tourists and what have you!
As suggested, I shall certainly try a low viewpoint next time I'm in the area. |

Melanie - You must be courageous to undertake such a long journey on dirt road ... which presumably was full of pot holes. So, full marks for that!!
Now, coming to your image, I find it very interesting compositionally. Inclusion of dead trees really makes it, as does the highlighted patch on the bottom left. However, if it were my picture, I'd extend the canvas marginally to the right and crop about a centimeter at the top. Purely a suggestion! |

Nathan - Post processing of IR in color is not always easy and you've almost succeeded!! The piece of 'art' is a bonus. The artifact in the sky areas is bit of a worry.
I tried converting the image into mono and played around with it in PS. Adding contrast didn't help much. See what you think! |

Graig - The open gate with the lead-line of the path is cleverly rendered. I also like the brick work forming an arch, giving some depth to the image. Perhaps turning the bricks into mono may give may create a better effect, and also avoid the little spill of red along the arch way particularly in the top area. |

A stunning image in every respect Gary, one that is full of drama. Detail on the croc. incredible ... almost giving a carving effect! Composition equally strong. Like it immensely. |

Your view greatly appreciated, Gary. Thanks for posting your version of the lighthouse along with the suggested comments. Image looks much better with no markings on the road! |
