Hi Craig
Thanks for your comments and suggestion in regards to adding the sky. Re. Excessive noise - I'd purposely left it there as I was trying to equate it with the IR film! I was told at one of the seminars that a number of photographers try and add the noise deliberately ... hence my reason for doing so!!! |

Nathan - You have an eye to see ordinary subjects and turn them into interesting objects. Such is the case with your pond picture, reflections, etc. I think Gary is making a valid point which is worth considering. I do also like his crop and treatment which has enhanced the image further. Keep up the good work. |

Melanie - your approach and execution of photographing the butterfly is commendable. It has all the recipe for an IR treatment which you've successfully captured. Composition is just as good.
I think the clouds in this instance are a bit of hindrance. |

What a beautiful image Gary, and all the work you've put in to achieving the end result. It does have that fantasy feeling that you were after. My only slight quibble is about the composition! Have composed it my way which you may or may not like!!
Incidentally, I couldn't find "Topaz Impressions, Monet" amongst my set of filters. Is this something new? |

I quite like the composition and the end result that you've achieved. The star effect has also come out well, revealing some suggestion of IR effect on the tips of tree branches. Couldn't have done better myself. So, well done Craig. |

Gary - a DEFINITE yes as to what you did to enhance the image further. Lightening the clouds has also helped, as has increasing the contrast in them. Thanks for your other suggestions and input. |
