Thank you Gary, for your comments and for posting the adjusted version of the "Forest Gums". It certainly looks greatly improved and much more balanced. One question if I may! I opened the image in CS6 > Nik Color Efex Pro 4.0, but couldn't get to Darken/Lighten (Center) Preset. Wonder, if I'm missing something!! |

Gary, your approach to the subject matter is highly commendable, as is the compositional aspect of the image. IR effect has brought out both texture and form where needed. I like it very much. |

A story-telling image depicting everyday life of the people of Havana. Melanie, you've clicked the shutter just at the right time producing a well balanced image. Perhaps the image would look slightly better if the verticals are corrected - as I've done. See what you think! |

A fabulous shot Craig, that is full of mood and drama. Compositionally a strong image. Love those steam clouds + ripples in the foreground, which is an added bonus. Well done! |
