Thank you for your welcome note Melanie, and the kind comments you gave about my image. Glad to note also that visited Australia last year and took some pictures of these fabulous trees. Did you get to see Melbourne and it's surroundings whilst you were here? |

Sorry for the typo error! Only noticed it this morning. "pinion" should be changed to "opinion" !! |

Thanks for your welcome, Melaine. I appreciate what you said about the power lines. It was only the middle one that worried me a little ... hence the suggestion! |

Both the viewpoint and composition work for this image, as do the reflections of trees. Adding the sky is also a good idea. Nathan, in order to strengthen the composition further, why not try and base it on thirds horizontally, i.e. cropping roughly 1.5 inches from the top. Also clone out the white spot in the lake. Just an pinion! |

Everything is going for this image Gary, portraying a great scene in IR. On a minor point was the dark outline separating clouds and the sky intentional!!! |

The overall scene has been well executed, giving us the essence of the place. Inclusion of figures is an added bonus. A few suggestions if I may! I think it would be best to remove the power line hanging in the middle. Also tone down the building just a touch on the right side ... and adjust the perspective at the same time!! Hope it helps. |

A peaceful scene, very well depicted and composed. Understandably, it's not always possible to set the proper white balance when taking IR pictures in color. But you've succeeded in your mission here! The warm reflections are pleasing to the eye, as are the highlights bouncing off the rocks/stones. A delightful picture on the whole. |
