I love turtle faces, and yours is terrific. I think it did lose sharpness in editing, compared to the legs. I don't think you need focus stacking for sharpness. Just use levels and contrast, as Mohanan did. I would not add the grass. Either leave just the one blade, or remove it. |

Great action shot. I know you plan to lighten the face. I would also lighten the blacks a little and see if there is some detail in his pants. And I would prefer to have the skier's face on the right one-third line, to give more balance to the image.

You enhanced the colors of the beautiful flowers well. And skillfully added the top of the tree and some more sky. The people add interest. I suggest you remove the road at the bottom and left. |

Pretty bird. If you wait until the sun is in front of the birdhouse or to the left, the light will give the bird more sharpness and less noise. Also, as Bogdan pointed out, too much cropping. Leave more birdhouse in front of the bird. |

Well taken, well cropped. So colorful and interesting. It made me say WOW. I prefer it just the way you presented it. The water bottle is fine. I didn't even see it until it was mentioned here, and it is the desert - an appropriate place for a water bottle. Leave the back rider there, water bottle and all. |

Thanks to everyone for your comments. Terry, it's the camera (Sony A6300), my wonderful new Tamron lens - 18-300mm, and the higher ISO which gives me such a fast shutter speed. That's my guess. |

They start out side by side and, one at a time, those who need to get higher start climbing. It's quite a feat. |
