Terry, you created a beautiful b&w image from your original. The capture of the little boy, his expression, his looking away, the lighting, all are perfect.
I would make 2 changes. First, I would select the bushes and trees in the background and lighten the shadows. And second, I would crop a little off the top and off the left side of the forward leg, to put the boy more on the left third line.
In addition, I like Lance's suggestion to lighten the giant's shoes a bit. |

Wow, Walter, what a beautiful capture of the sand dunes! In my opinion, all it needs is Topaz Sharpen, and a little of the water cropped off the top. |

Beautiful image and processing of the skin decoration. I too would like more neutral space on the right side. It looks a little crowded there right now. And I would clone out the white spot between the third and fourth finger. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. |

You are correct. I still need to convert it to b&w. I like the burning near the horizon and boat in the first sample. And the curve adjustment in your second sample is terrific. Thanks for taking the time to create these samples. |

I like the dark background - with a little burning of the white spots. Even with the darkness behind him/her, the bird still pops out. And the claws look good too. |

Great capture of the eagle with a goal. Face and wings are good and sharp. "Feet" could use more sharpening. It would be good if you could bring out a little detail at the top of the head. And I would prefer to see the background more blurred and lightened so it doesn't compete with the wondrous bird. |

Lance, thank you for your wonderful and helpful comments. I am pleased to capture "Yugen," which I had never heard of. I will take another look at the original, in light of your comment, and will watch for more Yugen opportunities. |
