Thank you, Bogdan, for your comments. I'll try taking out the blurred rocks at the bottom and see what I think. Also I may try to move the rider to the left and see how that works. The wonders of Photoshop. |

Yes. When I crop in Lightroom, I get a grid on the screen that makes it easy to see if the building or horizon or whatever is straight. If you don't see a grid, you may have to turn on the option. |

You have created an absolutely beautiful image. The filter you chose, and the sky you chose, make an ordinary photo extraordinary. My only suggestion: rotate the image to the right a bit so the lighthouse and the buildings stand straight. |

Great photo of a gathering of cormorants. The crop is good, and so are the 3 open beaks and the other 4 looking at you. However, most of the birds are still too dark. If a global lightening with blacks and shadows lightens parts of the photo that you don't want to lighten, you can use one of the many programs that allows you to selectively lighten. |

Great shot of Chicago at night. Well edited for color and exposure. I too would like to see the perspective corrected. Currently, the buildings on the left lean to the right, and the building on the right leans to the left. Photoshop has a brand new tool to correct that for you. |

Yes, it is amazing what you brought out in this photo. You did have to sacrifice some sharpness to crop so severely, but the result may be worth it. The best part for me is that the bird is so cute, it makes me smile.
The colors are over-saturated for a nature photo, but just right for a fine art picture. |

The flower is beautiful in all 3 crops, but after many looks, I prefer Mohanan's crop. It brings out the best in his photo. The saturation and exposure are just right. The only changes I would suggest would be:
1. to add a little canvas on the left so the tip of the leading line isn't touching the edge.
2. to remove the green bit of leaf in the center right, or else make it darker so it isn't distracting. |

Walter, thank you for your comments. Good point about the rider traveling to the right and could use more space. I have to think about that, because the best airborne dirt is to the left, and I don't want to put the rider in the center. A quandary for me. |
