Rosie is beautiful. You don't need her whole head. What you included is perfect. Good treatment of the background. I feel that you lightened Rosie's coat too much. A little blacker would give better contrast with her lighter colors. |

Great shot. Beautiful mountains and equally beautiful saffron fields. I had a similar thought to Mohanan's. Add an object to the 1/3 position on the lower right side. It could be an object such as a wagon or tractor, anything to give the eye a place to rest on its journey through the image. |

Your original seems much sharper than your edited photo. Be sure to check your editing each step of the way to make sure you haven't lost sharpness. Like Mohanan, I used Topaz deNoise, which adds sharpness and recovers detail when it removes noise.
I am about your age and had to give away my Nikon. Just too heavy to use. I am very happy with my compact Sony RX100 M6 - with a one-inch sensor. It's not an SLR, but it takes great pictures in situations that aren't suited for my iPhone 11 mini. |

Great caterpillar macro. Good color and sharpness. I agree with Bogdan. Crop is too tight. The hairs should not be cut. No haircut for this fellow. |

Although I prefer the color image, I think the b&w is quite nice with different cropping. The leading line is best coming from the lower left, since that's where the eye starts so I wouldn't rotate it. Also, I would crop it to put the flower directly in the center, where I think it belongs. My version has too much texture, but the shapes in your composition are very good.

Walter, you are correct. I made a typo. My lens was 18-200mm. Sorry about that. |
