An outstanding portrait of the little girl. And an outstanding job of replacing the background. Great idea to make the background a soft black and white. Goes perfectly with "the angelic features" of the child. |

How wonderful - to get to photograph 2 young bears. Good composition, except I'd prefer to leave the space beneath the bears uncropped, and remove some of the space over the bears. I wish I could see a larger version of the original. It seems to be better quality than the edited version. As Mohanan suggests, it's probably better to do all your editing on your computer. |

I love the venus flytrap image. Good catch. I agree with Mohanan that the second leaf did not need blurring. You got beautiful depth of field blurring for what is behind the two leaves. |

Good capture of the boys in an interesting environment. Makes me wonder what they are thinking. The boys, especially their faces, are sharper in the original, and they are the stars of this photo. I like Terry's crop because it puts the boys more to the right, rather than "almost in the center."
I hope your home is fine and that you get to return to it soon. |

Amazing that you can see this in front of your apartment. That is so special. I like your crop and see from your story that the cars are part of it. I like that you increased the vibrance, making it a very pleasing scene for the viewer.
I would select the pole and make it the least distracting color possible, maybe gray like the other poles.
And 2 nitpiks:
1. In the lower right, I would remove the small remains of the person who was standing there.
2. Under the red sleeve of the lady on the far right, I would remove the white line that outlines the bottom of it, probably from sharpening.

Terry, thank you. I have now made the sky and mountains subtle again. Piece of cake in Photoshop. Much improved. |

You got an amazing image of the sunset on the mountains right out of the camera. Your editing to bring out the features in the valleys made it even better. The only change I'd like to see is to rotate the image a little to the left. The buildings and mountain range are leaning a little to the right.
Congratulations for being chosen the PSA Distinctive Image artist for September. Beautiful photos. |
