The sky is not added. It was in the original bracketed photos I took and comes out beautifully in NIK HDR Efex Pro. |

Bunny, please see my new comment which explains how I got the clouds to show. It's the magic of HDR. No importing used. |

Does your comment on the horizon line mean that you think it needs straightening, or are you suggesting that I remove the small, distant mountains on the left? They are in the original images. |

The sky was not added. It has so much detail because I took 3 bracketed images at -1, 0, and +1, with the shadows of the 2 darker ones lightened a little in Lightroom, and combined the 3 images using NIK HDR Efex Pro (as I wrote in my description above).
With so many software tools available to photographers now, it's often hard to tell what is real in photos and what was moved in.
I am attaching the 3 images to this comment. It's only letting me attach one at a time, so please pardon the 3 notes.

Hard to believe it's the same image. I can't tell from the description of your edits how you transformed the car so dramatically.
There is good detail in the sky of the original, and it's gone in your edit. NIK Color Efex Detail Extractor might have brought back the sky details. The left side looks cramped to me, with all the open space to the right. I would leave in more of the back of the truck and cut out some of the open space on the right. |

How lucky you are to live near this beautiful waterfall. Great image right from your camera, and your edits make it even better. I would prefer a little more space under the base of the falls.

You captured a flying bird in an interesting position, with some sharp detail, but overall I do not find it sharp and wish there were more details in the bird's face. |

You did such a great job of capturing this scene with your camera that few edits were needed. Your adjustments were all good, but good for you for getting an image that was terrific right out of the camera. |

Wonderful opportunity for you, and all of us along with you, to experience this dramatic scene. I'm glad you took out the bright white lights. Great image. Here are my nitpiks: scene is too white now (white balance was less white in the original; blue light are on the rocks is too saturated; clone out wire over miner's head; crop less off left and more off right so that the rock thing next to the miner's left foot is entirely in the image and there is a little less rocky wall on the right. But those are just nitpiks. Great image. |
