My thanks to all of you for your comments. I tried all your suggestions to see what I like best - and I feel that the image is now much improved.

I love your dancing chicken and think you did a good job of making the onlooker pop. I like the square format. I would prefer to have the colors in the image, but with the greens darkened so they don't steal the show. |

Great shot using a challenging technique. I can feel the speed of the kayak. I suggest you adjust the skin color to look more natural. Also, I would crop some of the left and some of the bottom to give the boat more room to move forward. |

I agree - you got a beautiful bird in a great pose. I would leave in the upper-right dock and the bag in the lower right - I think they add interest, and just crop off the top of the image so that the space above the pelican is the same as the space below - and take off a little of the left side to give the look of more space in front of the bird. |

It's wonderful that you shot the 2 birds in the grasses - good color and sharpness in the original, but with such a severe crop, the sharpness has been lost, and somehow the bright colors got lost too. The high ISO may also have contributed to the loss of sharpness. Perhaps if you cropped it less, and allowed the orange flowers in a darkened background to surround the birds, you might have a sharper image. |

I don't know what you mean. I don't see any discussion on my web page. Sorry.

The flower looks beautiful, set in an image with a soft, multi-colored background. I would prefer to have the light whitish circles to the left of the flower removed, but that may not be possible. |

My reaction is that the "invisible" man is quite scary and is in a tunnel coming toward me. You've done a great job of creating drama, and the red radiating out from both sides of him is quite creative and attractive. |
