I took the photo in late October when the colors were glorious. Good suggestion to try black and white. |

Walter, I'm glad you find the saturation appropriate. It IS easy to overdo it. |

I love this narrow tunnel of lights with people walking through it, especially the silhouette on the right. At first glance I thought you had converted the front part to black and white, but I see from the original that the colors are the original ones. A very interesting and unusual image. |

I agree with Terry. The photo tells a very touching story. Your edits are terrific, with especially good cloning to get rid of the non-essentials. My only suggestion is to rotate the photo a bit counter-clockwise so it doesn't slope down to the right so much. |

Interesting reflections. You found a good place to stand for taking this photo. |

What a beautiful dog you've shared. There is so much feeling in the story being told - maybe a little sadness about not feeling well or having to wait for the children. Good job cloning out the basket. Yes, you achieved your goals with the capture and the cropping. |

I love the bright cheerful image.
I was going to write pretty much what Terry said.
1. more space on the bottom and the right to uncrowd the "Happy New Year" hay and the purple flowers
2. decrease whites and/or highlights to make the house on the left fit in comfortably - then you won't need to clone it out
3. desaturate just a tiny bit for a more natural look. |
