Very pretty bird, but it looks like a decoy, rather than a real bird. I hope you'll photograph closer birds and not have to crop so severely. With your lens at 400mm, that should not be hard to do. |

Thanks to all for your helpful comments. I've tried to incorporate the suggestions into my re-edit, giving the horses more space around them, but still can't decide whether to include the sky.

I like the changes you made on this wonderful and moving image. I suggest you select the very white left tusk and paint it the light yellow color in the other tusk. |

Beautiful capture of a pretty little island in a red (unfortunately poisoned) lake. I find both the original and the edit a bit over saturated. Perhaps your camera is set on VIVID?
I would tone down the blue sky and the greens to make the photo look more realistic. |
