Bogdan, thanks for your comment. I'm glad you like the exclusion. That's new for me. |

Thank you both for your comments. I darkened the back left, and then darkened the rest of the back a little less, and I am pleased with the result. I tried blurring the back a little, a good suggestion, but decided I prefer it as it is. |

Beautiful reflection in the water.
I would like to see the dark parts of the tree trunk and the ground lightened a little, especially the dark triangle in the upper left corner. I like the tree trunk and ground as a frame - but feel the dark parts are too dark. |

I agree with Barbara about the colors. Really nice - but the flower is not sharp. I think you need more depth of field in your photo to get the whole flower sharp. It looks to me that the little yellow parts (the stamen or pistil?) are sharp, but the rest of the flower is not.
Also, I suggest making the image a square and cropping out the brown foliage on the right. |

You found a beautiful image to highlight by cropping out what took the focus away from the main event. Excellent job of "trimming the image." The colors are very special, with the lime green plant topped by a bright red collar. And the curving lines of the plant, wrapping around the branch, curving down and around and up again, and leading to the curving red collar, and a ed leaf on the top, are pleasing to the eye.
If I have to nitpik, I would suggest removing some of the little brown spots from the green part of the plant. |

An amazing photo, perfectly panned, which is not easy, and you got it "sharp as a tack." Quite an achievement.
I like the royal blue figure behind him, the shadowy figures in the lower left. and the out-of-focus snowy triangular area in the lower right, reinforcing the slope of the jump.
I would prefer to have the "cookie box" on the left cropped or removed, giving the jumper more negative space to jump into. To me, it's out of place in this beautiful image. |
