I love silhouettes and sunsets, and this is a beautiful combination of the two. The seagull is a wonderful addition. I like the smaller one if you are going for realism, but the larger one if you are going for impact.
You could crop off a little of the top and the right, and keep the same proportions. Also, adding a white border in Photoshop would allow the viewer to better see the lower boundary of the image. |

Beautiful bird, great colors, wonderful reflection. I think it needs sharpening. It looks to me that the camera focused on the yellow "seaweed" in front of the bird, and not on the bird itself - a very shallow depth of field. If you took the photo with the lens wide open, closing down the lens (an f-stop with a higher number) will give you more depth of field, i.e., a greater area of sharp focus. |

I like this image very much, especially the way you have placed the branch diagonally to fill the frame. Could it use some sharpening? When I view it on my screen, it seems to need sharpening. |

A wonderful image! So much to look it, it's hard to stop looking. I like the composition, the bright colors, and the yellow border. |
