Thank you Regine. No I do not use a tripod or monopod as much as I should. Maybe the snowy stopped for a second and I guess I was lucky. I should have been at at least 1/1600 sec if not faster. |

Thank you Art. I like your flip too, coming towards me not away from me. |

You are correct Kurtis. I was on spot metering but I believe only by mistake. I don't remember changing it and I did use exposure compensation -1. So was it only the spot metering that blew out the feathers? Thank you for catching that Kurtis and for your great editing. |

Okay, I really thought it was a Barber Shop. Very interesting indeed. I do love the colors and my eyes are all over the place which I believe to be a good thing. It looks like multiple photos stacked not just ICM. Or maybe a little of both? I do like it and Stephens comment will make be look up all about the cubist movement in painting. Always great work Art. Thanks. |

Sylvia I love your shot and the story. As Regine said "Waiting for the Musicians", a perfect title. With all the editing you did I am surprised something didn't fix the glare already. I took a shot at it by just a little dodging. |

It surely is Peaceful in the Valley. I love what you did with your photo Kurtis. You brought it to life with incredible vision. So well done. |

Regine I think you did a great job capturing this wood duck in flight. I was taught that sharpening was always the last thing you do.
Are you liking your new equipment? I have seen many really sharp imagines out of the Canon R5 so I am surprised you needed to sharpen your photo at all. But I also heard there is a learning curve to get it right. How's it going? It might be time for me to step up also.

Beauty at its best Gabriele. Nothing like a sunset of reds and oranges. Kurtis mentioned the foreground and I agree. I never would have thought to paint the sun yellow like Art did. It makes a big difference but if you left it alone I would still love this beautiful sunset. Nice job!

Sunandan this is a very lovely imagine. For me its very thought provoking. As Art said "wonder and beauty". I like Art's crop and darker tone making it more mysterious. Was this a resting spot to go even higher or are you all getting ready to descend?
