Thank you Sylvia for your lovely comments. It just caught my eye and no one else in my group of friends even noticed it.
Regine's idea of removing that one tree made a big difference. The extra room zooms my eye right to my dancer. |

Regine, it was rough edit and thanks for the reminder of the shadow. Thanks again for your suggestion. |

I never would have guessed your background to be river rocks. It looks so soft and pink. If I knew how I would just have lightened the pistils of the flower and of course the moth too leaving the background just as it is. Just my 2 cents.

Don't be sorry Regine. Thank you for your comments and even playing with it. I like the black and white but I miss all the other trees. I am not sure what you are referring to by wanting to remove a little bit so I "quickly" took out the whole tree on the right. Its a rough edit for sure, but is that what you meant?

Sorry Art, just a little too extreme for me on this one. |

You did good Kurtis. But I think you turned my sunrise into a sunset and you did a good job too. I can't believe I just noticed my crooked horizon. Shame on me. |

Art I think you are starting to rub off on me. I see your version as a much better version of mine. It really pops. Thank you.

Kurtis I would love to know what created the background in your original photo. Its very interesting. I still see a lighter version of the background in you edited photo but you lost most of it. I also liked the smaller petals in the left corner that you removed. You certainly did a good job lightning the flower and bug. How did you lighten the flower? Nicely done.

Gabriele what a beautiful area. The colors are warm and inviting and the trees lining the road makes my eyes run right up the road. The bright blue area in the sky is a bit too bright so I would prefer a panorama. Nice job. |

A nice touch Art. Curves made it a a bit better and the lip highlight gone is perfect. |

Sunandan this is a wonderful photo. I never take enough photos of people. Your photo is so thought provoking, making me wonder what your subject might be thinking and what is making him smile? Both the color and sharpness are perfect. Do you know him? What made him so happy? Great job. |

Sylvia I think this is a great example of minimalism in photography where less is more. It creates a wonderful sense of calm and peace and certainly makes me want to be there. I love your editing just the way it is.

What great editing Art. It looks like you took the original apart piece by piece and created a very fantastic finished piece. And Regine you are so right about that very important triangle. Yes, congrats Art!!! |

Hi Regina, I love your story and that you found a way to take an ICM shot. I really like your editing and the results but the way you described your feeling in the forest its your original photo that speaks to me more and feels more spiritual to me. I think if you didn't tell me your great story I happily would have chosen your ICM version. (Art added a bit more interest for sure.) |

Thank you Adrian. This shot is right out of my camera. I only resized it to be able to send it. I was actually surprised to see the color of the cloud behind him so perfectly. I do agree that it needs to be cropped a bit and on the left and below is exactly what I was thinking. |

Thank you Cindy. Sometimes I even surprise myself. Yes a little off the bottom is needed. You are so right, I have way too many crazy shots trying for perfection.

Thank you Jerry for your comments. I think you are right with it needing it to be cropped. Will do. |

Adrian what a difference Bruce's crop and rotation makes. It brings so much more attention to the two of them. I don't like that leaf in the water but nature isn't always perfect either.
But wow for you catching its prize crab. Well done.

Well Steve, you didn't disappoint us when making us wait a month to see these little guys. Great finish to your story indeed. Love the pose and you did a good job lighting them while under the porch. I look forward to seeing next years hatch-lings, since you almost have the timing down perfect. |

Lucky you to find this cute little drifter. Its so soft yet so sharp, well done. And a good job on editing. I have been playing with lots of my little bird photos by making them squares so I had to play with yours too. |

Beautiful shot Bruce. I never would have guessed the pink background to be a train and yet there she sits not bothered at all from the noise. I like how light the owl is, I don't think I have even seen them with such light coloring. Is that the benefits of the 800 prime lens? Or maybe it isn't a barred owl?? Anyway, the color is beautiful and once again tack sharp. |

Jerry also one of my favorites. I love the pose that's showing off the yellow slippers very nicely. Good job with the editing and the clone. I wish there was an easy way to get rid of all the little grasses sticking up, but maybe the great shot makes up for all the grass. |
