Sylvia, fantastic! I love your original and I love what you did with it. Each version is lovely but for me there is no way to improve on your editing work of art. I hope its hanging up in your home. |

Great job Kurtis. I am wondering what is in the tree that is keeping both of them there. Lots of editing going on but you ended with a beautiful image. I do like Art's version just a bit better only cause of the darker background. |

Art every month you inspire me with your work and this is no exception. This time, I like the original colors better. And, I also find myself wanting to take away two osprey. The bottom right and the far left, leaving only two osprey. One with his wings upward and the other with his wings downward.
But yeah, you are the artist, right?
I certainly have to try multiple exposure. |

Regine, I love that you even took this photo. I think you should go back to see what it looks like with the brilliant colors of Fall and then mount them side by side. Of course I love what Art did. Perfect!

Nice Gabriele! Never saw these cute flowers before. I like the bright yellow and of course the butterfly but its a bit busy. So I like Kurtis' composition and Art's darkening and flip and because flowers should be planted in odd numbers... I like Regine's idea as well. There it is... perfect!

Sunandan, I certainly agree with Art and Regine. A very good photo but made powerful in the B&W version. |

Hi Charles, in your opinion, should this flower have been sharper? Is it as sharp as it needs to be? Or should I strive to make sure my flowers are sharper especially when it maybe the only flower in the photo?
As always I appreciate your feedback and comments.

Thank you Ray for your compliments as well. You put a smile on my face this month. Yes, the stem is there just too dark for anyone to see. I should have caught it. |

Thank you Vincent for your comments. Well, I certainly thought is was sharp until I compare my shot with a few other photos in the group. But then again, should I compare them? |

Thank you Raymond for taking the time to explain the steps. Still sounds like lots and lots of work. You, Charles and Dan have really inspired me to learn this technique showing such wonderful examples. Thank you all. |

Pretty flowers whatever they are. Love the yellow and white combination and the composition is better with the top railing gone. Nicely done.

Vincent the view from the top of this bush of flowers is just too busy. May I suggest to get lower, either next to the flowers or even below the flowers and shoot up a bit getting the shining sun from the side. A new view for sure.

Dan I don't believe I have ever noticed a yellow azalea before. Here you have the beautiful color combination of yellow green and blue and the composition is fine with just a little more room on top. Of course its busy but that is what a bush of beautiful flowers should be. In my opinion you did very well and not every single photo has to be tack sharp. |

Murphy I love that you captured the three stages of the flower one right next to the other. The contrasting colors are perfect and Charles' idea to darken the leaves in the back added a good touch. Even the "pinstriping" change made a difference. And thank you for your information when dealing with old slides. Beautiful!

What a beautiful flower and so perfectly captured. Love the composition and colors and it would not be as great if you didn't put it in my face.
I am surprised that with only "25" focus slices you still were able to get such a tack sharp photo. I was thinking you might have needed many, many more. Well done Charles.

Great photo Raymond. Of course the first thing that came to mind was "The Black Dahlia" movie. Love all the different tips and tunnels of the petals and of course the different tones throughout. Well done.
I am wondering just how long this one flower took for you to shoot and edit?
