38 Feb 23 Comment Sylvia you stepped right up with your challenge, good job. LOL! I think Art's edit is a really crisp version of yours and I like the longer banister along the 2nd floor. Good luck.

38 Feb 23 Comment Beautiful work Kurtis. I am also surprised of the huge crop outcome. I guess you are really liking the R5. Art finished the photo wonderfully. The finished composition works great and the colors really pop. Well done. Feb 16th
38 Feb 23 Comment Hi Art!
Yup the light pole had to go but the rest is so fun with all the swirling, colorful curves. You have certainly mastered this technique. Well done again.

38 Feb 23 Comment Regine, this is a lovely imagine and a fun one to play with. I cropped it a little different and added a filter and vingette in the corners. I also had to remove that building with the white roof on the left. Looking at my photo, I even feel peaceful. Feb 16th
38 Feb 23 Comment Hi Gabriele, I love sailboat photos and what a fun subject to blur. Years ago I used to love doing this blur with trees. I think Art's crop works very well getting rid of the left corner stuff and a tiny bit more added blue. Well done Gabriele. Feb 16th
38 Feb 23 Comment Regine, thank you so much for your inspiring and encouraging comments. I have always wanted to print a photo on metal and I think you may be right that this is the one.
Thank you also for your mention of Joshua Cripps. How do you know all these artists and photographers, are you an art major? I have not heard his name before but a quick look made me the jealous one. Can't wait to get to know his work.
Thank you again Regine, you made my whole month.

38 Feb 23 Reply Thank you Kurtis! You're right, I have seen this shot all over the place, but now I have mine too.

38 Feb 23 Reply It never crossed my mind to brighten the steam but it really works well. Thank you Art for you comments and version.

38 Feb 23 Reply Thank you Gabriele for your comments. I can't imagine what major changes you might want to do? I kinda like it that way it is.

75 Feb 23 Reply Thank you Vincent for your comments. They are all helpful. Feb 22nd
75 Feb 23 Comment Vincent you did well making this a square frame with the perfect circle in the middle. It looks to me like your focus is just at the top of the flower making the rest of the flower soft but others have touched on this subject. And it took years before I realized that my tripod was really my friend.

75 Feb 23 Comment Welcome Ray! Very beautiful and sharp and my second very favorite color. The sharpness is incredible and so well done. I pick your original for greeting cards, its just happier. Feb 16th
75 Feb 23 Comment Very lovely! An iPhone?? Still great! The shadows and lines in the leaves is what pulls me in. Well done.

75 Feb 23 Comment Hi Judy, the b&w works well of course and it's very sharp. For some reason I feel that this flower needs a stem instead of just floating around. Can't tell you why. When I crop it I loose the feeling that it needs a stem. Feb 16th
75 Feb 23 Comment Dan, I think this is a very interesting photo just the way it is. I love that it is off center ever so slightly. The square, darker background is seen every day, but the horizontal with the blurred trees (maybe?) behind the lush red fruit. It's like you are tempting someone to touch it. Crazy, right? Feb 16th
75 Feb 23 Comment Murphy, great composition and great use of the gold reflector once again. You did a perfect job blurring the background to not distract from all the soothing colors of the flowers. The last bud on the left does not bother me. Nicely done. Feb 16th
75 Feb 23 Reply Glad to know there is someone else out there liking dying flowers. All of the distractions have already been cleaned up. Thank you for your comments.

75 Feb 23 Reply Thank you Judy for your comments. Feb 16th
75 Feb 23 Reply Hi Murphy, I was rushing to get the photo in on time and I most certainly should have looked closer for all the distractions. Shame on me. Thank you for your comments.
