Thank you Sylvia. I really like what you did, keeping all my reasons why I like the photo to begin with and an added punch.

Thank you Gabriele for clarifying what you were referring to. I understand what you are saying. I did have a second version that might have been better but I learned a lot by entering this photo from all the comments and of course I have a lot to learn. Thanks again.

Thank you for your reply Kurtis. Seeing all the bluring going on with Art and now Gabriele's photos recently, I was looking at your running horses thinking they too might be a great subject for motion blur by slowing down your shutter speed. I realize its totally different than what you are creating but it was just a thought. Don't get me wrong, I think your racing photos are great!!

Art unfortunately you took away every thing I loved about my photo. The curved ceiling, the tree tops, the reflection of the blue glass on the marble floors. I am not a fan of this in B&W. Maybe next one. |

Thank you Gabriele for all your comments but I am not sure what you are wanting me to "improve". What is it that you don't like?

Good for you... back at your "happy place". Great capture Kurtis. The colors are fantastic and your editing is very well done. I am wondering Kutris if you ever used Shutter Priority instead of Aperture Priority during these fast paced races? |

Gabriele, well done and kudos to you for experimenting. I do love Art's version. His cropping makes a huge difference in this case. |

This is stunning Art. Very creative seeing and using the old and the new buildings together. The lighting on the tower and the clouds all add to the finished art. Well done. |

A real "Sunshower" Sylvia. NICE! Just the other day I could have taken the same photo looking out to my backyard. For me your edited photo is just a little too much. I played with the the original and still made it show the rain and the sun but kept the softness. Just my opinion. I still love that you saw a photo opportunity during the rain. |

Regine, I love that you are walking around in the early morning with you coffee if one hand and your camera in the other, a nice way to start you day for sure. I really like your photo and I am not a fan of too much saturation but Art's version is incredible.

Allen I agree about the on camera flash's bad reputation and thank you for your comments but in this case I used my flash off-camera but I am guessing you can see that its off to the side.

Thank you Murphy for your comments.
May I ask you a question? I thought the flash would compensate for no tripod and the right of the fiddlehead is soft because it didn't get enough of the flash. |

Beautiful capture Charlie. Wonderful color and very sharp. I think Dan is right that it needs a little crop on the left, it made a big difference to me when I tried it. Well done.

Hi Allen, I happen to like the violet and green. Isn't it okay to use secondary colors together? But if it were my photo I would have moved the grass around to the side or the back of the flower and have the violet steal the show. |

Carnations are one of my favorites Mary and I love the pink. I can't make it out but it looks like some of the petals are discolored or bruised. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Hi Dan.
What a nice pleasing photo of a not so familiar color Iris. It's a shame that it is invasive. The rain drops add so much to your shot and I see no blur from a breeze. Well done.
Dan, if you were to change the f16 to maybe f8 or f5.6 would that blur the background more? Or do you need the f16 to focus stack the flower? |

Murphy what a beautiful flower, one I have never seen before. I love the composition that you created with both flowers and the added interest of the honey bee. Well done! |

Beautiful red rose Vincent. It seems like you caught a few shades of red as well. The stem on the left in my opinion should be removed as well as the brown leaf on the left and on the right. You are right, way to many times we pass by a special moment. Glad you got a second chance. Nicely done.
