38 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Sylvia. Apr 30th
38 Apr 22 Reply Gabriele, yes I am sure it is. I was trying to start a conversation with Sunandan. Apr 24th
38 Apr 22 Reply Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for your comments Ian. It really means so much to me. It was a great chance to try something new and I had lots of fun especially since I was the one directing his poses. Apr 20th
38 Apr 22 Comment Once again Kurtis I like your image and I love what Art did in editing. I am guessing that Art took the original to work on since it seems to be much cleaner. I could see this hanging in a pool room or a card room for sure. Fun shot.

38 Apr 22 Comment Sylvia I do like the original photo and I have no idea how to do all the edits that you did. I do know that the golds in your edit are too much for my liking. So I went back to the original, cropped it, added a filter and straightened the horizon.

38 Apr 22 Comment Art congratulations on all your publications, your honorable mentions and your awards. You have been working hard to perfect this talent, it certainly does not look easy. On this photo I happen to like the original only because its more recognizable to me that people are playing their instruments. I am not able to make sense with your edited version. Apr 15th
38 Apr 22 Comment Well Regine I happen to love your original. I love the space around the monument and the added lake view. It then looks like the cherry blossoms are pointing right to the monument and I love the pale colors in the original. Apr 15th
38 Apr 22 Comment Gabriele I too love the balance of threes. The gold in the hills with the strong blue sky compliment each other so well. Nicely done. Apr 15th
38 Apr 22 Comment What a fun shot. How did you do this? Apr 15th
38 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Art. I certainly did need more on top.

38 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Stephen and thanks for stopping by.
The lighting setup used was "Alien bee light in a Paul buff parabolic light modifier. The modifier was turned sideways so the light skimmed or feathered on the subject". Linda who held the class said referring to my photo that "the catch light is there but small". Maybe it's just too small? Honestly I don't see the difference with Art's edit. Can you really see a difference?
