Thank you Kurtis that's really nice. You give me hope. I certainly do see the horizon cutting the surfer in half now that you pointed it out, I should have know better. But as far as getting lower...I was at the edge of the water with an incoming tide so I was kinda stuck there. |

Kurtis, this is a hard one for me. I don't like that you needed to change the white snow geese to grey whatevers. But I do love what you did with the sandhill crane. It's like seeing each and everyone of its feathers in detail. Nicely done.
So I took it and made a square just trying to not see the background. Not much of an alternative.

Wow, another iPhone shot. Soon we will be getting rid of all our heavy stuff. I like your cloudy day and cloudy sky. I do think the colors are a bit harsh but that's my preference. Its very interesting composition with the hills in the foreground and the mountains in the background, but I would like to see this cropped to almost half removing most of the clouds on top. The landscape and a bit of sky is just beautiful and brings out much more of the luscious greens.

If you ask 100 people you will get 100 versions. I think you did a great job with your original.

Sylvia, I also like your photograph. Regine is right, with a sky like that who could resist. I do see the 3D effect and the grass foreground adds so much to it. I went back to the original because I like the size more and I just fixed the horizon, darken a little and sharpened. |

Regine, it's a do not delete from me. I love the composition with all the interest in the foreground and leading my eyes through the entire photo. And then you have the beautiful GOLD setting sun. I think you did a great job editing it just enough. Nicely done.

I love this Art. It took me awhile to figure out what it was and that's exactly what I love so much about it. The original is softer and more up my alley but what you created is dreamy, and mesmerizing. I'm sitting here trying to imagine your twists and turns with the camera. So well done. Have you entered this in competition yet? It's a sure winner. |
