Thank you Regine. All good suggestions and I am glad you like it. I also like your idea of no mat and no frame. This might be my first photo to print on glass at Fracture.com.

Gabriele, the sky is what is attracting me in this photo, so strong and beautiful and the magenta foreground is very distracting to me. So I darkened the sky, cropped the bottom and softened it all for a way different approach.

Gosh I haven't seen cicadas in a very long time and never blue cicadas. Your creativity is wonderful and well done. By Art toning down the highlights and darkening it just a little made for a softer and sharper imagine. A great capture Regine!

Everything you did here created a absolutely wonderful photo! Capturing one bird feeding along the water with feet dangling in is hard enough but you took it to a whole new level and beyond. The color is outstanding. I hope this is up hanging on at least one of your walls. |

Kurtis, your "Canal Bridges" is such a change to the original I almost have a hard time believing its the same photo. Excellent job bringing it to life. Well done!
I do love Art's version a bit better because the darker tone is more appealing to me and the cropping certainly brings my eye right to the "Canal Bridges".
