I love what you did Art. The gradient gave it more of a blue evening but it also brought more of the pink sky out too. Thank you.

Thank you Sylvia. It's funny cause I thought I nailed it with the rule of 1/3's but with all the comments I see that I should have cropped the buildings to be higher.

Thank you Kurtis for your comments. Trust me, next Christmas time I will be there again to make all the changes that I should have caught the first time.

Thank you Gabriele for your comments. I think my ISO was still set for all the previous photos. I was trying to keep the buildings in the middle 1/3 of the photo but I like what you did. Gabriele, if my ISO was set maybe at 400 I might have got some stars too?

Welcome to the Macro world Gabriele. What you can see in nature with a Macro lens is just fantastic. I love the orange, green and pink and that you didn't scare the butterfly away before you got your shot. Your second composition is my choice and the fact that you keep the ant crawling around the bottom is perfect. Well done.

Regina, I don't think you can ever go wrong with a purple flower and then you have an added bonus with the bee. The combination of colors are great. I like your composition and I like how Art toned it down and increased the contrast just a bit. I am wondering what your settings were. |

Art once again I love the original. The red lilly pads and the pink lilly is a wonderful imagine on it's own. Then you take a great imagine and play, and I love how you play. The green and yellow are great together but I think its how you cropped the photo that really makes very interesting. Those little dots almost looks like it should be the shadow of the lilly so it made me look deeper. I love that! |

A beautiful beach scene Sylvia. I actually like your original a bit better because of the softness of the sand and the softer color of the grasses. Maybe if you could darken the ocean and sky as Art did and leave the foreground softer?
I guess I want the best of both worlds. LOL |

Hi Kurtis, in my opinion I feel the imagine is very oversaturated. It's beautiful imagine of a great tree but I didn't even see the leopard until I searched for it. So I would defiantly crop it as you did when replying to Sylvia. I also like what Sylvia did with the colors. It looks more peaceful and real! |
