Hi Regine! Welcome to our group.
I think your composition is really good. The colors could be a little warmer as Art is suggesting, maybe not that much. I am trying to figure out where the bright light on the water is coming from? I might like to see this in B&W to create even more drama. Why are there two settings? Is this two photos?
Overall a very nice imagine. Nicely done. |

Gabriele I think my friend King would love to get a new hairdo every time he gets out of the water. LOL
It's funny! I agree with all of you about cropping the photo especially with the diagonal pose. I would frame this in a square and put it right on my wall. But because of the feeling I got that he was there for so long, searching for a fish to capture I felt the wider photo made it right Ifor me). You all can't feel that because you weren't there so it's better in a square.
Thank you for the comments about darkening. I know your right.

Art I think this is a wonderfully captured moment. Your crop and making it B&W added to the finished photo big time. I have to repeat others ... very dramatic and mysterious. And very well done.Great! |

First Congratulations on your daughters wedding Sunandan.
I think your photo here is beautiful and you captured the "precise moment". Something I continue to strive for. The colors are fantastic. Very well done.

Hi Sylvia, welcome to the group. Your Willowy Grass is very calming. I love all the lines in every direction especially the ripples. I think I would prefer a B&W version. But the composition is great. Well done.

Hi Kurtis! Welcome to the group. Talking about capturing the moment. Nicely done. Shorty is in the prefect position. It looks like he just might be next. The colors are great, composition is good and I like seeing the full arena watching with bated breath. Good job. |

Nice Gabriele! Unfortunately you had a cloudy day but I don't think it took anything away from your windows. In my opinion Art's version is too flat and Sylvia created a nice painting but your photograph gives me the feeling of standing across the water looking down the canal. The feeling of being there on a cloudy day. I might darken it a bit. I like it. |
