Art I love when you take something ordinary and make it extraordinary. This is one of those times. The colors are WOW!!! The blue tinge on the water lilies is electric! And after first seeing this great fun photo you then added the original.
So here is how I might have dealt with your original. Hardly fun at all. I took out all the black spots, cropped and sharpened. Your colorful vision is a great result of pushing boundaries. Well done.

Welcome to the group Regine. I love photographing flowers also. You made a nice photo with the soft red background and the bright green leaves in the foreground making the white Peonie really POP! I like the composition to the left of center. I think I like it square a tiny bit better. Well done.

Gabriele, I have no idea what a radial engine is but I really like your photo of one. Looking at this photo I had assumed you moved the lens in or out to create the effect. The radial blur did a better job by not blurring the center and leaving it sharp. A very creative capture Gabriele. Nice!

Thank you Sunandan for your prayers. I don't know anyone that can't use them right now. Thankfully my family and I are all well. I pray that this virus is over soon and we all stay safe.
I really like your sunset silhouette even before Art offered his ideas but Art's ideas are really good ones. This went from good to great. |
