Thank you Gabriele! I love all the comments. I take and learn from each and everyone one of them even if I man not agree. It's always a good discussion.

Thank you Stephen for your visit and comments. I do agree that Art's version is a bit too much for me and all it may need is a touch more contrast like you are suggesting. Thanks. |

Kerstin, this is a wonderful result of your afternoon of playing. I love the color rose with the black lace mask and adding the sheet music is perfect. I look forward to see more of your creativity. |

Gabriele, this is GREAT! So, mysterious! The composition is perfect as well as the colors of the costume with the black background. I will have to add Carnevale a Venezia to my bucket list. |

Phyllis this is like making lemonade out of lemons. In the middle of nowhere and you "made a photograph". Well done. I agree it could use a bit more contrast.

This is very interesting Art. I like it! I think it is strictly an abstract, right? I love the position of the bikes and riders with what looks like fire under them.
I am curious as well. Did you use the same image and then the rest was done in post processing or is this several images taken and then stitched together somehow. Either way I like the results. |

Gerhard, this is another great capture from you. I agree with Art that you are a master of handling light and dark. I have to try using my histogram, as well as my Auto ISO, but I have a long, long way to go to be as ready as you always seem to be to capture whatever is in front of you. VERY WELL DONE!!!
So, was the bird the next one to disappear? |

Sunandan, I love the colors in your photo as well as the strong foreground and the balancing sky, but I am not sure I like the sun in the middle. A little more pop is good too, but just a little. |

Thank you Gerard! I was worried about the black leaves being a distraction but I guess it doesn't bother you or Art. After seeing Art's version I do agree a little more pop is the way to go. Have a good year ahead.

Thank you Art!
I was worried about the black leaves on the left corner. Your version looks a tiny bit over done for me. But I certainly appreciate your advise. |
