38 Aug 18 Reply Thank you Gabriele for explaining more about the life of these birds and the rules about the guidelines. I was taught by a photojournalist and he taught me to get it right in the camera. Rarely do I exaggerate anything in my photos. No need to send the original, I am sure it looks very much like the above photo. Thanks. Aug 23rd

38 Aug 18 Comment Gabriele, for some reason I am having trouble enlarging the photos to get a closer look. I believe the gull is sharp all the way to the tips of the wings, and he is coming in for a landing. GREAT JOB! It sounds like you did a terrific job in very horrible conditions. Would I want a different background, YES, but not always possible. Aug 10th

I like the rough of the wood and the fragile little bug together, and the green lichen and the red bug. I would also crop it to have the bug off center. Aug 10th
