Very nice shot. I wonder if even tighter crop -- right up to the bucking strap and the horse's nose, would eliminate some of the background distraction and heighten the impact of the center of interest? |

I'm finding that most of the rest of you in this group are way ahead of me in post processing techniques. So it's a great learning experience. I like the composition of this image: I can almost hear the music. I think the hand on the right looks tad over-exposed. I'd play with the LR gradient filter to bring it down a bit. Don't give up on Lightroom. I'm an old guy too and learn more about to use it every time I use it. |

Great image that taught me something: I'll have to keep the vignetting trick in mind. |

Beautiful image, a work of art. The post processing is just as creative as the capture. If there's any way to improve this photo, I sure can't think of it. |

Much nicer color rendition but coming from a journalism background, I'm leery of too much photoshopping. Converting to monochrome as Cindy suggests preserves the original scene while making the image stronger, I think. |

I like the creativity. You found a unique way to photograph an iconic subject. Agree with Cindy about boosting the contrast a bit. |

Monochrome is a big improvement. I seldom consider converting, obviously going to have to start. |
