Love your abstract zebras and I like the original image. The grey lines 'contain' the image nicely. |

Great result, and use of your imagination. You could add some smoke to the rusty nut at the end of the blue tube to look like he/she is smoking. I like Charles suggestion about using the right eye on the original. |

Thanks Charles, re the choice of images, I never plan an image before taking pics. I usually just look through the images I have and choose one with potential to add to etc. Then I look for another that I can either use as a texture/background to the 'main' image or to make a story through combination with the main image.
The fungus image reminded me of the old fairy stories, so found an image of a house I could use to add.
Process is totally 'play it by ear' and not planned in advance. I enjoy playing with images and see what happens.
Other problem with this method is remembering what I actually did. |

Black and white was a good choice. I agree with Charles' comment about the darkness. I would crop in closer to the bird to increase the focus on it. I like the frame choices. |

A real challenge to select pics at random. You missed a little bit of one image when masking the sky. I like the overall hue of the image, but would get rid of the blue stripe as I think it is a bit much of a contrast.
Original 2 is a great still life. |

Great composition and action. Love the background. The splashes reflect the action. Clever work. Only problem for me is the noise on the figures, particularly when the background is so clear |

Hope you had gumboots on! The grins look genuine, not forced and make it a great group photo. I like the original, Arabella's version for colour and the straight bridge in Toms version. |

So cute, you did well to get so low. I agree with Dan about the in focus leaves being distracting. Maybe blur them or a square crop. |

Great car image. Love the choice of background. My only suggestion is to desaturate or blur the grass reflections on the bumpers. |
