10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Mark,
What a great idea to use dry ice. You did capture this image well! The background needs to be one solid color.

10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Meredith,
What an interesting image! Donna has given you some good suggestions. I might tone down the white section on right top shelf. I find different objects the longer I look.

10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Doug,
Very creative. Well done! I agree with Donna and Meredith the background needs to be a consistent color.

10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Rich, what a lovely image of Jasper Lake. Brings back some fond memories... My husband and I took a train trip starting from Montreal to the Canadian Rockies. We stayed at Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper Lake. I like Doug's crop of the image. Jun 20th
10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Donna, what a wonderful opportunity... A lovely image. You captured it well. I have never tried sharpening eyes... Jun 18th
10 Jun 24 Comment Hello Meredith, I have to try bracketing in camera... Thanks for the suggestion. Jun 18th
10 Jun 24 Reply Hello Donna, I think the white halo was created because I did not apply the texture correctly.I did not get close enough to the petals with the texture that I was applying. I should have enlarge the image while applying the texture. Jun 18th

65 Jun 24 Comment Hi David,
I like both the B&W and your colored version of your beautiful Nigella! You did a great job with the focus stacking-great detail.

65 Jun 24 Comment Hi Esther,
I agree white flowers are difficult to photograph. I prefer your original #2 image. I would remove some of the distractions in the background.

65 Jun 24 Comment Hello Maria,
What a unique orchid! You captured it well. Our group members have given you some good suggestions... I would darken the background slightly.

65 Jun 24 Comment Hi, Shirley,
This is a lovely group of almond blossoms. I like the composition and the dew drops. Maria made some good suggestions to enhance your painterly image- reduce the amount of the filter slightly and apply a different texture to the background to create some separation and contrast with the flowers.

65 Jun 24 Comment Dick, this is an impressive image! I really like the composition, the vibrant colors and sharp details. Perfect lighting! Jun 17th
65 Jun 24 Comment A very nice image of a carnation-great detail and color. The nice dark background helps the flower pop! The uneven lighting is a little distracting. A diffuser helps me create even lighting when the lighting is uneven.
Barbara, I have to starting using my Lensbaby Twist!
