Doug, thank you. I am glad you like my dahlia image. I have difficulty seeing where the focus is on my images when using the Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens. It looks okay to me... I will look again. Kathleen Clemons liked it, too .

Hello Donna, I think I have a diffuser behind the dahlia to block the harsh light. Glad you like my dahlia image. |

Thank you Meredith. I am getting ready to dig up my dahlias. I will store the tubers in a cool place in our basement and will plant them again in Spring. |

Hello Rebecca, this is such a nice image of a Hosta leaf. Great color and detail. Donna and Doug have given you some good suggestions on how to enhance the image. It would be nice to see the tip of the leaf. |

Rich, what a nice opportunity to be able to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park in fall. Nice image. I like the mountains in the background. I agree with Doug, I think it would be a stronger image if the trees were more in focus and the mountains a bit soft. |

Hello Rebecca, this is a beautiful water lily, but the bright sun created harsh shadow. Water lilies are often difficult to photograph because sometimes they are in the bright sun. I hope you have another opportunity to visit the Como Zoo when the water lilies are in the shade, |

Hello Melanie, What a lovely image. I really like the detail and color of this Globe Thistle. The white little flowers are a nice addition. Your have done a nice job creating the purple background. Fran, Dick and Maria have given you some good suggestions on how to improve your image. I like how Dick cropped your image. I would leave a little more stem showing.
