Hello Meredith, thank you for kind comments. I am going to keep shooting with the 56. Eventually, I will post an image that has the correct focus... I hope. |

Hello Donna, I am getting better shooting with Velvet 56, but still have a way to go! I wonder if my old eyes are making it more difficult to photograph with the lens. I see where that front petal is not in focus. I will keep shooting with the 56 and hope to improve. Thanks for your comments. |

Wow, Donna, this was quite an assignment. You did a great job! What a great image of your granddaughter. Great smile! I find the fall leaves on the side of her face distracting, but it would be difficult to clone the leaves out. It would be fun to see what other members of your club did with the image.

Hi Doug, nice bright colors and brightness. What a fun lens to explore and be creative. Did you take a class from Charles Needles? I attended one of his session during a PSA convention. |

Hello Rebecca, this images shows your brother deep in thought. Donna and Meredith both mentioned that the horizon needs to be straighten. It would be nice to see your brother's face but will the image mood be the same? |

Hello Mark. It sounds like an interesting event and a good opportunity to take pictures of horses. You were able to make the pony the main subject. You did a great job capturing the pony- very sharp, great detail. Maybe try blurring the background a little more like Meredith suggested. Nice image. |

Hello Rebecca, I really like how you isolated the stamens! I agree with Fran, they look like candles! Fran gave you a good suggestion of cropping the image a little more to the right to make the stamen's pop. |
