Rich, what a great image of Monument Valley. Your capture the rich-orange colors of the desert well and your image is well composed. The focus seems soft, but I understand when you are traveling you can't always use a tripod.

Doug, I like the colors and the clarity of the image, but I am sorry, it is too confusing for me. At first, I thought the white stones were clam shells. Your image does keep the viewer engaged. I had never heard of a teleidoscope. I have to look it up. It would be nice to see the original image...Thanks for sharing. Keep experimenting with the teleidoscope. |

Hello Donna, I really like the color image! You did a great job capturing all the color, details and reflections. Nicely done. Removing some of the distractions will enhance your image. It is so difficult to photograph car shows, but you did a nice job. |

Welcome to Group 10. We are here to learn together. I am glad you liked my dahlia. I have using the Lensbaby Velvet 56 for a while. I found out that it has quite a learning curve, but my images are improving. I hope you try the Velvet 56. You will like it. |

Hello Dick, thank you for thoughtful suggestions. Using a tripod with a Lensbaby makes it a little more difficult to get my subject in focus, but I have to use a tripod because of motion blur. I move too much. I think it has to do with my age! |

Hello Jodi, congratulations on your new macro lens. I find that most of my lenses have a learning curve..some more than others. Like Fran said, keep your 105 lens on your camera for a couple of weeks and practice. You did a nice job eliminating the distractions, but that bottom leaf is still a distraction. Looking forward to more macro shots. |

Hello Fran, I really like the composition and background of your Day Lily. Too bad it was in uneven lighting when you photographed it. I think a diffuser would have helped to even out the light, but I know sometimes it is not easy to use one in a public garden. |
