Carrie, great image! Great color, detail, and textures! This museum would be a nice place to visit to collect textures to use with flowers! |

Doug, I like how you were able to enhance the color and the detail in this landscape image. I have to experiment more with the dehaze tool. |

Rich, this is an interesting photo. You captured it well. I like it, but you could experiment by cropping it in different ways. |

Donna, this image of your dahlia is outstanding! You used the perfect F-stop to captured all the beautiful detail. Well done! It will be interesting to see what others in the group have to say about the composition-cropping. I think, I would crop just a little more off the left side. The tip of one of the petals is cut off and the lower petal is too close to the edge... Just my thoughts. |

Melanie, I really like your image! You did a nice job of removing distractions and your texture is perfect for this flower. I am starting to create my own textures. I am exploring the different brushes in Photoshop. |

Fran, I just love your image! Love the softness and also the texture you applied to it. I finding myself shooting at F5.6 with the Lensbabies. I need to explore F2.8. I purchased my Velvets a couple of years ago and I still don't feel confident showing my images to others. Your image is impressive!!!! |

Fran, I agree with you, I think it is a little too bright...I will go back to check my post processing. I love the lensbabies, but I struggle to get the right place in focus with the Velvets. I am using the camera magnification and focus peeking to help me with focusing. I will post an image next month using the Velvet 56. Do you add macro filters to the Velvets? |

Maria, thank you. I grew about 20 different dahlias this year. The ones I planted in the ground are still blooming. The ones I planted in pots did not do so well. I think the pots were small. |

Melanie, thank you so much for your suggestions. I think, I finally figured out the Sweet 50+10 macro filter. I was having such a hard time trying to get the correct area in focus. Now, I have to be careful with the shadows... |
