Thanks very much Mike. Welcome to the group! At the time I was there, the bird count was over 400K. Nebraska is said to attract 80% of the world's migrating cranes. An astonishing number congregated in one area. I haven't been to Bosque yet, only Monte Vista, Colorado and the Platte River in Nebraska. |

Very nice work, Marla. The tree is fabulous. I would like to see a little more detail in the snow in the foreground, or better yet, crop it up. My eye is drawn to it as the brightest area in the image, but I want to look at the tree! |

Nice sweeping vista! Great job picking up the fabulous color. The GC is a hard place to shoot, and you did a terrific job. I would crop some from the top, just under the darker blue shade, as the sky actually detracts from the image, and agree with Marla about adding more contrast to the scene behind the foreground. |
