I thought this really improved it. I may try taking a few more pictures and doing the suggestions. At least while the tree is up. Thanks ! |

Interesting way of taking a picture. Just pick a time. I never have been in a class that did that !
I like what Connie did with cropping (funny with the music icons added!). I did feel it was a little dark and could be fixed with the exposure in post processing if possible. I like the read with the gray background. Is this sitting on a table? I wasn't sure how big it was, except the nail on the left, which makes it look very small. |

Great photo for the subject ! I never would've thought of that. I like the white and pink flowers around her. The green background really made everything stand on. |

I really like the blur to cover the clutter up. I did that post processing on a passing train a few years ago, but it was on different software that required about 6 steps (I think PSA had an article on it I copied), so I'll have to remember that.
At first, I thought it was moving, but I see no one is in it !

Wow. All the people in the photo are also watching it. I liked how you took a photo and cropped it to a great final photo. My eye follows the sunset but it really was a background to the pier. Great subject for something red. |

I thought extending at the top helped the photo. I would've never guessed those roses were made of wood ! I didn't find it too dark, but if you put the original side by side it might look darker than needed instead of the photo on it's own.
Is the background made of cloth ? |

Very creative. I felt the colors were good. The green and red, with the background you used really made it stand out. I think you are right that a white background would've been too much. |
