I was using a Rebel 5i during this time but I have a Canon mirrorless purchased late last year and the light sensor is much better. I hope to capture sharper images of the same subject. Just waiting for warmer weather in the morning ! |

The curves and winding paths from down below makes the photo interesting. It looks like the hikers are taking a short cut or exploring as they exit the patch between the fence area. Everything is very green and somewhat overgrown, and would look like summer here. Looks like a little garden area on the right ? My eye had trouble focusing on any one thing except the paths below (wonder what's down there?) |

I felt the photo wasn't exactly colorful, but it really does tell a tale. I wouldn't have guess it was made by an alligator. My eye follows the trail from pond to pond. Very interesting. |

I felt it looked like a framed painting when I first glanced over it. Even though it is out a window, I found it very sharp and various colors really enhanced the photo. My eye focused on the trees and their colors along with the path, like I was trying to follow along the various objects. They did some great picturesque landscape around the building. |

Do you mean the vintage costumes are available to anyone dressing up or or just groups like girl scouts or school ?
At first, I thought it might just be how they dressed there (sort of like Amish). I really felt the costumes really enhanced they were wearing did make the eye focus on them. They do look deep in thought with that pole. I agree with Carole on maybe cropping out the house, but at least it is dark and somewhat covered by overgrowth.

When I look at the photo, I feel a sense of calmness. I think it's the openness along with the people just enjoying the outdoors.I really liked how the sky blended with treeline and monument. It makes me want to go and see it myself. The curved path with water reflections really enhanced the subject (paths). |
